About the Role
Lead a team that supports municipalities across Alberta in achieving long-term sustainability. This role oversees municipal viability reviews and restructuring processes, including dissolutions, amalgamations, and status changes, while providing expert advice in complex situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage municipal viability reviews and restructuring initiatives.
- Apply legislative frameworks under the Municipal Government Act.
- Provide strategic leadership and staff development.
- Build strong relationships with municipalities and stakeholders.
- Oversee multiple projects requiring innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible experience delivering programs for municipal clients.
- Strong knowledge of municipal legislation and governance.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
