2024 was a busy and momentous year for Alberta Municipalities and our member communities. The steady stream of government bills introduced in spring 2024 kept us busy. Time and again, we amplified our members’ concerns and encouraged the provincial government to consult and work more collaboratively with us and the member-municipalities we represent.

Our team also worked closely with members across Alberta to provide products and services that suit their specific needs. Regional Representatives met with community leaders throughout the year to build meaningful connections in their respective regions. As trusted sources of information and advice, our Regional Representatives provide tailored services, recommendations, and insights at the right time to achieve the greatest possible success for our members.

More than 1200 delegates attended our annual Convention & Trade Show – Alberta’s largest municipal gathering.

Our regional representatives held over 650 member visits in 2024.

Our media outreach resulted in more than 9800 mentions in the media.

We reached an estimated audience of over 7B across media types.
