Asset management courses; REGISTER SOON

Alberta Municipalities, in partnership with Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA) and Infrastructure Asset Management Alberta (IAMA), has offered asset management training since 2018 to municipal administrators and elected officials across the province. These courses have been funded by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).

As this is the fourth and final year that FCM funding is available, the partnering organizations submitted an application that will allow us to provide asset management training to municipal administrators as well as elected officials at no cost.

We are pleased to announce we are now taking applications for the asset management cohorts aimed at municipal administrators. Applications may be submitted until September 16, 2022. Workshop locations will be determined by the number of applicants, their asset management capacity levels, and their geographic locations. Once we have organized the successful applicants into cohorts, we will work with them directly to schedule the workshops. We will do our utmost to provide participants with flexible scheduling.

If you are interested in applying, you will need a council resolution supporting your participation as well as a completed Asset Management Readiness Scale form.
