Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
The Village of Edgerton is seeking a motivated and community-minded professional to serve as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Reporting to Mayor and Council, the CAO is responsible for the overall administration of the municipality, ensuring effective implementation of Council policies, municipal bylaws, and statutory requirements under the Municipal Government Act (Alberta). The position provides leadership in planning, budgeting, financial management, and oversees all municipal staff and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong communication and public relation skills
- Management experience, preferably in municipal or local government
- Certificate in Local Government Administration and/or post-secondary education in a related field
- Proficiency with Accounting Software, Excel, Zoom, and general office technology
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- Experience supporting strategic planning and working collaboratively with Council and regional partners

Compensation
