What YOU’RE Responsible for:
- Provide high-level administrative and clerical support to Municipal Enforcement, Automated Traffic Enforcement, and Protective Services leadership
- Coordinate records, correspondence, scheduling, and reporting while managing confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and care
- Support programs that contribute to community safety and regulatory compliance by tracking deadlines, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate databases
- Other duties as assigned
What YOU Bring:
- Diploma in Business, Administration, Operations, or a related Administrative field
- 3+ years experience in an administrative role supporting mid/senior-level management; preferably in a municipal/emergency services/law enforcement environment
- High degree of accuracy and skill in Microsoft 365 environment
- Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, large volume environment in diverse areas such as law enforcement, emergency management, customer service, and communications
- Ability to apply exceptional organization and time/project management skills in a dynamic environment based on competing urgent, and business-critical demands and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and resilience to succeed in a rapidly changing, complex and high-stress environment
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as collaboratively in a group setting
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse audience both verbally and in writing
- A combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalency
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent)
Assets:
- Emergency Management training (ICS-100 or greater, Basic Emergency Management, Scribing for Emergency Management)

- The position is based in a public safety environment and may involve indirect exposure to sensitive or distressing information related to emergency incidents. Employee wellness and support resources are available

- A salary range of $57,803.20 - $ 75,439.00 per annum (based on experience and qualifications)
