The legislature is in session this week following a one-week constituency break. Budget Consultation Launched

On November 14, 2025, the Government of Alberta launched their 2026 budget survey, which is available online and will be open until January 15, 2026. In September, ABmunis shared our top priorities with the province and has since been engaging with senior officials to advocate for increased funding for infrastructure and preventative social services, as well as to address the stress from years of downloading have placed on the municipal property tax system.

Albertans can also participate in a telephone town hall hosted by President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance on December 9. More details may be found at alberta.ca/budgetconsultation.
