Two Weeks to May 31 Resolutions deadline

The May 31 deadline to submit a resolution is only two weeks away!

As the writing guide on ABmunis’ Resolutions web page states, resolutions should be submitted to resolutions [at] (resolutions[at]abmunis[dot]ca) once they are finalized and endorsed by councils of both the moving and seconding municipalities. The submission should include:

  • A MS Word version of the resolution in the format outlined in the template. 
  • Confirmation of endorsement by the moving and seconding councils.

Confirmation of endorsement can take the form of a link to meeting minutes if they are posted online. Alternatively, you can submit the number, mover and wording of the motion, including the date of the council meeting at which it was passed.
