ABmunis CEO Dan Rude announces retirement
Dan Rude, Alberta Municipalities’ Chief Executive Officer, has announced his decision to retire after 20 years of dedicated service to the association and its members. He will continue to serve as our CEO until December 31, 2024.
President Tyler Gandam expressed his deep appreciation for all that Dan has accomplished during his time with our association.
“We are deeply grateful for Dan’s contribution, commitment and guidance over the years. Alberta Municipalities has achieved tremendous success under his leadership,” said President Gandam. “Dan’s passionate dedication to the organization and our members has enabled ABmunis to become the formidable organization it is today.”
Dan has been working with the ABmunis and Alberta Municipal Services Corporation (AMSC) boards of directors for the last few months to develop a recruitment and communications plan for his succession. Executive recruitment firm Leaders International has been engaged to lead the search for Dan’s successor.
