Get to know ABmunis
We've created a Social Media Toolkit that's specifically designed for our members and potential municipal election candidates.
For over 100 years, we have supported building strong and resilient communities. We have been alongside our members, experiencing changing landscapes, tremendous growth, and challenging times.
Our commitment to support and understand the issues communities face has meant that we have remained a dynamic and evolving organization throughout the years.
As a member, you have access to a wide range of resources, events, and support designed to strengthen your role and your municipality.
Our commitment to member engagement
We are passionate about bringing together members and fostering meaningful connections. Throughout the year, our representatives travel across the province, purposefully connecting with leaders.
Through our events, we create opportunities for you to cultivate relationships and gain insights to your work. Each spring we cover key, top-of-mind issues facing your communities, and give you a chance to hear from government leaders at our Spring Municipal Leaders' Caucus in Edmonton. In the summer, we host regional Summer Municipal Leaders' Caucuses to discuss issues and explore solutions that matter to your community. And every fall we proudly host Alberta's largest municipal gathering - our annual Convention & Trade Show.
We take pride in creating opportunities to build connections between members, engage in meaningful conversations with municipalities, and support the work of community builders from across the province.

Services that matter to you
We’ve been working with Alberta communities longer than anyone else, so we understand your needs. We offer a full line of business services, providing the building blocks you need to operate more efficiently.
We provide outstanding value by harnessing the pooled purchasing power of our members, negotiating competitive prices through partnerships with community-minded industry leaders, and tailoring services to suit the unique needs and expectations of communities in Alberta.
Our knowledgeable Regional Managers are responsible for connecting with communities within specific regions of the province, allowing them to build meaningful connections and deepen their knowledge of the communities in their region.
