Update from the legislature – March 4, 2026
The second session of the 31st legislature resumed last week eight more sitting weeks scheduled between now and May 14. President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance, Nate Horner table the 2026-27 provincial budget on February 26. Main estimates
The legislature will begin consideration of department estimates on March 9, with Municipal Affairs scheduled for three hours of consideration beginning at 9:00am on March 10. Votes on the main estimates are scheduled for March 19.
