The legislature resumed sitting this week following a one-week constituency break.

On April 2 the Minister of Municipal Affairs introduced Bill 28, the Municipal Government Statutes Amendment Act, 2026. Alberta Municipalities’ preliminary analysis of the bill was shared with members late last week and a member webinar was held yesterday. A recording of the webinar can be found here.
