Support the Property Taxes Reimagined information project

In early October, Alberta Municipalities released our new information project called Property Taxes Reimagined: Fair Funding for Strong Communities. The initial response has been highly positive with hundreds of local leaders and Albertans engaging with us on social media and reviewing the carefully researched content on ABmunis.ca.  

With the municipal elections completed, we are asking for the support of local elected officials and municipal administrators to help the Property Taxes Reimagined project succeed. It is when we advocate together that we gain real ground, and community funding is an advocacy priority for ABmunis’ members. 

Please read our full explanation of the project’s objectives, how the information is structured, and what we plan to add in the near future. If you are attending our Convention in Calgary next week, you will hear us talk about Property Taxes Reimagined and the week after your CAO will receive an email with ideas on how you can help support the project.
