Resolutions: Next steps

Convention may be over, but the work on this year’s resolutions is just getting started. At Convention, you voted on 21 resolutions, adopting 19 of them. You can see them in our Resolutions Book or visit our Resolutions Library. We’ve taken those results, which include two amendments, and submitted them by letter to each relevant ministry. 

ABmunis will take the responses from the ministries to our standing policy committees for assessment. They will make recommendations to the Board about the priority of each resolution and whether further advocacy should take place and what that might look like. After Board approval, ABmunis will implement the strategies, advocating for our members. 

From there, we’ll make regular status updates on each resolution, keeping members informed through our resolutions library, The Weekly newsletter, and events. At the end of each year, we also produce a report card on the resolutions so you can see our advocacy and the government’s response in one place.
