Resolution submissions close May 31

Time is running out for your municipality to submit a resolution for consideration at the Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) 2026 Convention and Trade Show. The Convention and Trade Show will take place September 23-25 in Edmonton. Municipalities wishing to bring forward a resolution must submit by May 31, 2026. 

Resolutions are a key way for members to shape ABmunis’ advocacy priorities. If your council is interested in sponsoring a resolution, we encourage you to review the steps outlined in our Guide for 2026 Resolutions. 

We have already heard from several members who are considering resolutions. If you have an issue in mind, feel free to send us an resolutions [at] abmunis.ca (email). If we know of another member that is working on the same topic, we'll connect you so you can develop a resolution together.
