Registration for Summer MLC 2026 opens April 20!

Every summer, Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) hosts our Summer Municipal Leaders Caucus in several locations across the province. This format allows our members to meet with fellow leaders from their region and discuss common issues affecting their communities. Please note that the core program is repeated at each location.   

This year, our summer caucuses will be held as follows:   

• June 10 – Town of Vegreville 
• June 12 – Town of Coaldale 
• June 16 – Webinar for the North 
• June 24 – Red Deer  

Exact locations within each municipality are still being confirmed. Registrants will receive an update as soon as those details become available. Topics for discussion will include water system viability, Property Taxes Reimagined (PTR) and revenue tools, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), and municipal indicators for viability.
