Promoting interprovincial trade and procurement opportunities

Last month, our ABmunis administration joined an interprovincial trade mission to Winnipeg , led by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC). The mission included Alberta businesses, municipalities and regional economic developers that toured the facilities.

The delegation also met with federal Ministers and Manitoba business leaders to highlight opportunities for trade, investment, and made-in-Canada procurement. 

With support from Prairies Economic Development Canada, the ACC is planning more prairie trade missions in 2026.This includes looking at opportunities for enhanced domestic procurement opportunities for municipalities.
