Minister McDougall meets with ABmunis Economic Strategy Committee

Last week, Minister of Advanced Education Myles McDougall met with ABmunis Economic Strategy Committee.  

The constructive conversation focused on: 

• The need for increased workforce capacity, including in rural and remote communities,
• Growing the labour pool to ensure Alberta has the talent it needs, and
• The role of international students in Alberta’s post-secondary education system.  

Committee members were also able to discuss the province’s fiscal situation and the need for prudent yet strategic investments to grow our province.
