Mark your calendars for 2027!

We know that our municipal partners are in the midst of planning for their 2027 calendar year, so we wanted to flag the events that Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) already has on its calendar.  

President’s Summit & Spring Municipal Leaders Caucus 

In March, ABmunis will host both the President’s Summit and Spring Municipal Leaders Caucus. While these two events will focus on separate topics, they are run in tandem they not only will complement each other in content but will save members on travel costs and time. 

The President’s Summit will run on Tuesday, March 23, with the Spring Municipal Leaders Caucus following with a full day on March 24 and half day on March 25. 

For those working towards your Elected Officials Education Program certification, EOEP courses will run on Monday, March 22.  

Alberta Municipalities Convention and Trade Show 

The 2027 ABmunis Convention and Trade Show will take place at the Edmonton Convention Centre September 22 – 24, 2027. Pre-convention sessions will be held on Tuesday, September 21.  

Room blocks for that event will open April 2027.
