EPR: webinar recordings and resources for phase 2!
As Alberta moves into Phase 2 of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), municipalities can access a variety of resources to support implementation and resident communications. Last week, Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) hosted a webinar on EPR Phase 2 to help members prepare for the transition. If you missed it, you can watch the recording here.

Circular Materials has distributed an EPR Communications Toolkit to elected officials and municipal staff, which includes:

In addition, 27 new digital assets have recently been added to Circular Materials' Canto resource portal. Municipalities can access these materials through their Canto portal.
These resources can help municipalities communicate upcoming recycling changes, answer resident questions, and support a smooth transition as communities enter Phase 2 of EPR.
