CEIP launches programs in the City of Calgary
Applications are now open for the City of Calgary’s commercial Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) and a permanent residential program, providing property owners with a financial tool to support energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to their properties.
Its commercial program is expected to support an estimated 29 projects with program financing of $10 million, while its residential program is estimated to support 656 projects with $20 million in program financing.
With the goal of creating a more climate-resilient community and lowering utility costs, the list of eligible upgrades includes windows, doors, solar panel installations, increased insulation, upgraded lighting fixtures, and tankless hot water systems.
