CEIP launches in Lac La Biche County
Applications are now open for the Residential Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) in Lac La Biche County.
At a fixed interest rate of 0.00% for up to 20 years, residential property owners have a new way to finance eligible energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to their properties. Repayment is handled conveniently through property taxes, and, if the property sells, the financing is transferable to new owners.
This launch will make CEIP available to approximately another 7,670 Albertans. Lac La Biche County has $1,000,000 available for property owners to fund an estimated 52 projects, creating more climate-resilient communities and lowering utility costs.
