Alberta Municipalities and RMA have partnered to create two online seminars on drought and water management ahead of what is shaping up to be an extremely dry spring and summer in Alberta.
Preparing northern municipalities for drought: Thursday, March 7, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Preparing southern municipalities for drought: Friday, March 8, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Communities may register for either or both webinars.
The online seminars will feature speakers from Alberta Environment and Protected Areas and municipalities sharing their advice on preparing for widespread water shortages.
