Alberta Municipalities Insurance & Risk Services is delighted to have recently introduced our Insurance Online Member Portal, supported by our new insurance system, Origami Risk.

The portal was created to streamline our insurance services and to meet your evolving needs.

Access insurance information from anywhere at anytime

The portal empowers you to manage your insurance coverage quickly and easily all in one online system, 24 hours a day, every day. Our new system makes it easy for you to:

• Update your contact information as needed
• Complete your annual Pre-Renewal Questionnaire (PRQ)
• Access your account from any device that allows you to use a web browser - a cell phone, tablet, or computer – at any time of the day or night.

Coming soon, you will be able to:

• Make immediate updates to your property and vehicle schedules as you add and dispose of assets
• Quickly and seamlessly submit and keep track of your insurance claims and incidents
• Request and store Evidence of Insurance.

Completing your PRQ

Last week, we opened our annual Pre-Renewal Questionnaire (PRQ). ABmunis continues to evolve to better meet your needs through our new dynamic PRQ which makes it faster and easier than ever before! The information you provide us this year will be used to pre-populate the answers in next year’s PRQ, making it simpler to complete in the future. The PRQ questionnaire asks respondents to review and verify any information we currently have and gives them an opportunity to update it. The questionnaire is designed to be responsive, reducing the amount of information you are asked to provide. And, if interrupted, the respondent can save the work completed to that point and return to finish it later.

We have e-mailed to your staff an easy-to-read quick reference guide for clarification of PRQ questions. We estimate this year’s PRQ will take between one and two hours to complete, including gathering any supporting information. We ask that the PRQ be completed by Friday, October 27.
