ABmunis' 2026 Events Calendar
Alberta Municipalities is pleased to announce the dates for our 2026 events calendar.
Mark your calendars for these important informative ABmunis events:
- Alberta Municipalities Provincial Budget Webinar: This online event will likely be held on Friday, February 27 in anticipation of the province releasing its budget on Thursday, February 26
- Spring Municipal Leaders Caucus: Scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 to Friday, March 27 in Edmonton. More details will be provided in January, so watch The Weekly for an announcement
- Public Risk Conference: Your Insurance and Risk Managers will want to know about this one! Please let them know they need to hold Thursday, April 30 & Friday, May 1 for ABmunis’ PRC. Details will be announced in The Weekly and on ABmunis.ca
- Summer Municipal Leaders Caucuses will be held in June in a few locations across Alberta. More information will be provided early in 2026
- ABmunis’ 2026 Convention & Trade Show: Alberta’s largest annual municipal gathering will be held from Wednesday, September 23 to Friday, September 25 in Edmonton, with pre-convention sessions taking place on Tuesday, September 22.
ABmunis is also planning several free webinars throughout the year on a variety of topics including school sites and fire services. Stay tuned to ABmunis’ The Weekly for announcements. In the meantime, make sure to register for these online sessions taking place in late-November and early-December 2025.
