2026 Resolutions Book is now available
This year, Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) members have submitted 19 resolutions that will be presented at ABmunis' 2026 Convention & Trade Show in Edmonton, September 23-25.
The 2026 Resolutions Book is now available on our resolutions webpage in PDF or Word formats. The 2026 Resolutions Book features:
- How to participate in our Resolutions session
- What happens after a resolution is passed
- The 19 resolutions that will be voted on by ABmunis Regular Members
Please note that all elected officials from Regular Member municipalities are eligible to vote on resolutions but must be registered for the Convention.
Briefing Template for Administrations
To help present the 2026 Resolutions Book to your council, we have created a templated briefing note that administrations can use to prepare council for Convention.
We encourage all member councils to review the 2026 Resolutions Book in advance of Convention so you are prepared to participate in the debate and voting process. Questions about ABmunis’ resolutions can be directed to our resolutions [at] abmunis.ca (Advocacy & Policy team).
