Advocacy WIN! Golf cart pilot project
In 2023, Alberta Municipalities members passed a resolution regarding the use of golf carts on certain approved roads and public lands.
In response, Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors has enacted a Regulation that establishes a five-year pilot project to evaluate the use of golf carts on select highways within participating municipalities whose councils pass bylaws to authorize golf cart use on designated highways, and that are approved by the Registrar of Motor Vehicle Services.
