ABmunis joins regional leaders at PNWER Summit
Alberta Municipalities (ABmunis) attended the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) Annual Summit in Edmonton last week, joining more than 500 public- and private-sector leaders from across Western Canada and the northwestern United States.
Throughout the summit, discussions focused on issues that matter to municipalities across Alberta, including trade corridors, infrastructure connectivity, permitting, trade and security, and supply chain resilience. The event provided an opportunity for ABmunis to engage in conversations on regional competitiveness and economic development while ensuring municipal perspectives were represented.
As host city, Edmonton showcased the important role municipalities play in supporting regional growth and prosperity. Forums like PNWER provide a valuable opportunity to strengthen strengthened relationships with partners across the region and highlighted the value of collaboration in advancing shared priorities.
