Members’ Advocacy Priority Webinar: Villages & Summer Villages

Event Summary

Alberta Municipalities is hosting a series of short, interactive member webinars to update you on our key advocacy priorities and to hear directly from you to help guide our work. These sessions will feature brief updates on ABmunis advocacy and focus on hearing your feedback, examples, ideas and questions. 

What We’ll Talk About 

• Funding infrastructure for housing: Hear about our federal and provincial advocacy and share examples from your municipality.
• FCSS funding: Tell us how preventative programs make a difference in your community.
• Police Funding Model (Villages, Summer Villages & Towns): Share how the new model is affecting you.
• Good news stories (Cities): Help highlight positive municipal examples. 

Each webinar is led by your Vice President representative, and is a chance to connect ABmunis President, Board and fellow members. Members are welcomed to join the session that best fits their needs and availability.
