Update from the Legislature - Dec 9

The Legislature is in session and expected to rise for the year by the end of the week, having passed 15 government bills. On December 3, the provincial government announced a survey on the future of policing in Alberta as part of the government’s review of the Police Act. The survey is open until January 4 and will help guide changes to the Police Act, which are expected to be announced before the end of 2021.
