SuperNet agreement update
As many of our members may be aware, the SuperNet operator agreement expires June 30, 2018.
Service Alberta has been actively completing an open and competitive procurement process to enable government’s direction for SuperNet 2.0, and provided the following update:
- Consensus scoring on pre-qualified respondent proposals has been completed by a cross-ministry evaluation team, with the guidance of both procurement services and an independent fairness monitor.
- Following consensus scoring, clarification reviews/responses and proponent shortlist presentations were completed.
- Reference checks have also now been completed.
- The Evaluation Report has been finalized and an award notification is expected within the next week or two.
- Following award notification, Service Alberta will enter a period of due diligence with the selected proponent prior to contract signing.
The award notification will remain confidential until due diligence is complete. AUMA will provide more updates in the Digest newsletter as information comes available.
