Province hosting municipal engagement session November 15 on consultation policies

In September, AUMA reported on its advocacy regarding the province’s plans to update its Policy on Consultation with First Nations on Land and Natural Resource Management and its Policy on Consultation with Métis Settlements on Land and Natural Resource Management. Following engagements in 2017 and early 2018, Alberta Indigenous Relations is now seeking further input from municipalities through an engagement meeting in Edmonton on November 15.  The details are as follows:

Where: Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre, 11727 Kingsway NW, Edmonton
