Former City of Edmonton Councillor Ron Hayter passes away

The AUMA extends its condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of former City of Edmonton Councillor Ron Hayter, who passed away on April 21, 2018.

Ron was committed to community and good governance.  He served as alderman for the City of Edmonton from 1971 to 1995, then again in 2001 until he retired in 2010.

In addition to his contributions to municipal governance on Edmonton City Council, Ron also served as AUMA President 1983 – 1984, and was awarded the recognition of a Life Member of the AUMA.
