Apply by August 27 for funding to evaluate your municipality’s inclusiveness

Does your municipal government want to create a more inclusive environment for employees, residents and service users? Apply now to AUMA’s Measuring Municipal Inclusion Grant program to access up to $50,000 for your municipal government to measure its inclusiveness and implement related strategies to operate more inclusively.

Revised in 2019, AUMA’s updated Measuring Inclusion Tool for Municipal Governments helps identify areas where your municipal government can improve its policies and practices to become a more inclusive employer, service provider and leader in the community. The tool offers an easy-to-use survey approach for connecting with employees and key stakeholders about your municipality’s inclusiveness across a range of topics, including:

  • leadership
  • employee engagement
  • infrastructure and land use
  • social services
  • resident engagement
  • and more.

For details about the grant program and how to apply, refer to the Measuring Municipal Inclusion Grant Program Guidelines and download the application form. Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on August 27, 2019.
