What You’ll Do

•     Lead and Inspire: Oversee a dynamic team of administrative staff and Community Peace 
Officers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work culture while driving performance and 
accountability.
•     Strategize and Deliver: Create and implement operational plans to ensure efficient service 
delivery, resource optimization, and adherence to legal frameworks.
•     Collaborate and Partner: Work with RCMP leadership, City departments, and stakeholders to 
align enforcement strategies with community needs and strategic goals.
•     Manage and Innovate: Oversee budgets, streamline operations, and drive initiatives that 
enhance quality and efficiency.
•     Engage and Represent: Act as a key liaison between the City, public forums, committees, and 
interdepartmental teams, building partnerships and addressing community concerns with 
professionalism and care.

Who You Are

•     Experienced Leader: You bring 6-10 years of progressive leadership experience,
preferably in police or enforcement settings. You excel at building teams, resolving conflicts, and driving continuous improvement. Your leadership style fosters a positive and inclusive workplace culture where team members thrive.
•     Knowledgeable: You hold a degree or diploma in Business Administration or related fields, 
with a strong understanding of RCMP policies, municipal bylaws, and enforcement practices.
•     Effective Communicator: You build trust and alignment with teams, stakeholders, and the 
public.
•     Politically Astute: You are skilled in navigating legislative and political environments 
while fostering community trust.
•     Adaptable Problem-Solver: You thrive in dynamic situations, applying critical thinking and 
creative solutions to challenges while maintaining focus on organizational priorities.
•     Strategic Thinker: You’re adept at long-term planning, resource allocation, and innovative 
problem-solving in dynamic situations.
•     Community-Focused: You are committed to public safety and well-being through responsive 
enforcement strategies.

Successful candidate must be willing to provide a CRC at own expense prior to start date, as well 
as be able to obtain (and retain) an RCMP issued Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
