This position is responsible to assist in the servicing, maintenance, and repair of Town owned public facility mechanical systems and associated equipment. Some evening, weekend and “On Call” work is required.

Qualifications:
•    Must be working towards accumulation of hours to attend or already attending trade school for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing or be willing and qualified to enter an apprentice or certification program as selected by the Manager of Facilities.
•    Must be physically able to carry out duties. Ability to plan, organize, and problem solve.
•    Basic computer knowledge in Windows, Excel and Word.
•    Must be a self-motivated, energetic individual.
•    Ability to work in a team environment; with facility users and the public.
•    Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.  
•    Must have or be willing to obtain and possess certification in building maintenance level I and II, Pool operations level I and II and Arena operations level I and II.
